ORCS or Counselors in Training are former campers (age 14 – 17) who want to build leadership and teaching skills in a camp environment. Orcs may sign up for one, two or three summer sessions. Our CIT program is designed for teens who want to build leadership skills while learning what it takes to be a great counselor. They are encouraged to work together and learn skills to be positive role models in our camp and in the community. The potential CIT is an individual who is energetic, motivated and keeps a positive attitude. This program includes training, shadowing, assistance, and participation in camp activities, rotation of duties, and performance evaluation. |
